We enjoy what we do

Accompanying change processes and optimising sales strategies in the hotel industry and tourism are anchored in the founders' DNA. The basis for this is the successful and long-standing co-operation as partners in the management consultancy KeePConsult.

We have built up extensive experience in the private and corporate hotel industry and have in-depth knowledge of the European hotel market and tourism. This, combined with a great deal of passion for what we do, makes us successful founders.

Data-supported, affordable revenue management for all tourist accommodation providers - this is exactly where myrate comes in.

At myrate, we analyse precise markets and data specifically from the tourism industry. Observation of the market, figures and intensive dialogue with partners and experts show that there is an urgent need here.

Real help instead of ‘smart’ advice: As a trainer, coach and team coach, Svend Evertz brings a unique combination of skills and experience to the table. He is not a theorist, but comes from the business world and therefore has a lot of experience in sales, marketing and projects. Evertz has many years of team building and consulting experience. Svend has many years of experience in team building and consulting in hotel management. This makes him a sparring partner, especially in difficult processes.

Svend enjoys shedding light on different points of view and finding a sustainable solution even in difficult situations. He often provides new perspectives, removes blockages and paves the way for constructive developments.

SILKE FOERSTER

Chief Operating Officer

Silke has been Chief Operating Officer at our company since August 2024. With over 15 years of professional experience in hotel management and management positions in Germany and abroad, she brings extensive expertise to our team.

Since 2012, Silke has worked with Svend at the management consultancy KeePConsult, advising national and international hotels, bringing valuable insight and expertise in the optimisation and development of hotel operations. Her extensive experience in leadership and her commitment to efficient, data-driven optimisation make her an indispensable leader in our company. With her strategic vision and focus on strong tourism, Silke contributes significantly to the success and further development of our company.

KRISTINA PETERS

Revenue Management & Sales

Kristina is myrate's revenue management and sales expert and our ‘Swiss army knife’. Her ability to quickly familiarise herself with new systems and her high sense of responsibility make a valuable contribution to the further development of myrate.

The trained IT systems administrator found her way into the hotel industry via a small diversions. For 10 years, she was the hotel manager for a small, owner-managed hotel chain with 10 hotels in the Ruhr region. She focussed on revenue and yield management and was responsible for all online sales. At the same time, she completed a correspondence course in business administration and a correspondence course in tourism marketing.

She ultimately found her way into the sales sector via network marketing.

Head Switzerland & Sales

Christina Kok is a true generalist. During her professional career, she has gained experience in every hotel department. Initially she enjoyed working in the areas of sales, marketing and PR in particular, before later concentrating on development, optimisation and management topics.

As a management trainee, Christina won the Young Hotelier Award 2008 in Vienna on the topic of ‘How to Create a High Performance Culture in a Hotel?’. She later headed the department for 4 hotels at Starwood Hotels & Resorts as Director of Sales. She then worked in hotel development as an owner's representative for two Hyatt Hotels and The Circle Convention Centre at Zurich Airport. There she supported the planning, execution and opening phases and introduced hotel asset management.

She gained further valuable experience in the field of executive search and as an executive coach.

GIULIA MANNA

Revenue Management & Data analysis

Giulia completes the Revenue Management team. The trained tourism clerk and tourism manager from Sarno/Italy already had her first contact with revenue management during her studies.

Giulia has worked for various hotels and hotel chains in both Germany and Italy, using tools such as Ericsoft, Amadeus and Opera before dedicating herself fully to revenue management. Giulia worked with SiHot and was responsible for the implementation, configuration and training of the team.

JOHANNES GIERSIEFER

Revenue Management & Data analysis

Johannes supports myrate in everything to do with revenue management, i.e. prices and availability. Over the last ten years, he has built up a wide range of knowledge in this area in various companies and positions. By looking after various hotels in different markets, he has been able to gain experience in both business and tourism-orientated markets.

Johannes enjoys analysing large amounts of data. He uses the conclusions he draws from this to optimise the logistics yield. He also enjoys analysing viewpoints and findings from different perspectives and understanding the requirements of different service providers and markets.

SABRINA WINKELMANN

Revenue Management & Data Analysis

Sabrina completes the Revenue Management team. After training as a hotel specialist, she gained extensive experience in various positions, including in the front office, at the SPA reception of a cruise ship and as an assistant manager. Since 2022, Sabrina has specialised in the areas of reservation and revenue management and successfully completed further training as a revenue manager at WIHOGA Dortmund. Sabrina has already experienced two hotel sales and conversions and has gained extensive experience in system conversions and launches.

At myrate, Florian can combine his two passions, tourism and sales, and build on his previous experience. The Sales Manager started his career in tourism at the Steigenberger Academy and the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, where he trained as a hotel manager. After working as a front office supervisor in a Berlin hotel and as a sales manager at a software service provider, Florian is expanding our sales channels together with Svend and Silke.

OMAR EZ EDDIN

Tech lead

As Technical Lead at myrate, Omar ez eddin combines in-depth knowledge of software development with a passion for innovative technologies. He specialises in developing secure, scalable solutions and brings extensive experience with Django, React and AWS to our projects. Omar has contributed significantly to the architecture and expansion of our system landscape and ensures that our applications are not only functional, but also secure and future-proof. Omar enjoys solving complex problems and developing viable solutions that deliver both technical excellence and business value. His ability to bring innovative approaches to software development and drive his team forward technically makes him an indispensable member of our leadership team.

With Betti's open-minded, communicative nature and her strong commitment to quality improvement, she enriches myrate in all communication topics.

She uses her impressive experience in project and product management as well as customer success management in the tourism and travel tech industry to take our customer service to the next level.

Her professional career includes positions at GIATA GmbH and the German Tourism Association, where she demonstrated her skills in supporting all relevant stakeholders, designing and implementing training programmes and developing software tools.
